Led Zeppelin Jam

Had a very unusual weekend.  Not that I am complaining.  It was great... but unusual.

Saturday evening we went to see a Led Zeppelin Jam in Slagelse, and probably one of the only way I will ever hear music from one of my all time favorite bands.

These guys were fun and not bad, but it would of been great if I heard D'yer m'aker.  I think that's what it's called.

Kvickly lunch

We had a special treat this morning. Anne, Heidi and Mikael joined us at Kvickly for lunch.

Oh...

I was supposed to start working tomorrow for Gørley Kommune, part-time, but since I had an interview today at Novo, and it being closer to home and full-time, I went ahead and accepted it.

I have to thank Lyn, who I met a few days ago at Selma-Klip. As she was waiting to for her hair to dry, and I was getting my haircut, we passed our time talking about Denmark. We go to the same language school.

Two interviews, being hired almost on the spot... just after two weeks of applying is freaking AWESOME.

Happy Birthday Anne

We spent Saturday evening with Anne and friends to celebrate her birthday. It was a very enjoyable evening with red wine, several delicious lasagna dishes made by Charlotte's 13-year old son Nicholas... and a very tasty cake for dessert.

At around midnight, everyone started to leave. Kingkeld, Dee and I stayed a little longer for another cup of coffee. As 1 A.M. struck, we decided to leave... but before we did, Anne sat down and watched a video that Kingkeld forwarded to her called 2 girls, 1 cup. I'm sure most of you know what it's about. Anyway, we video taped her watching it.

Friday's Party

Mikael had a small party at his apartment this past Friday night. Kingkeld and I were the first to arrive at 11:45 PM. After everyone had arrived, it was communication from every side.

Kingkeld and I gave up the next day at 4 AM, but from what I am told, it ended for the rest at 8:30 AM.

These Danes sure can party.

Here I am waiting for Kingkeld to come home from work. Wondering if I will be able to handle the late night showdown.

Here I am with Philip. He's a Brit married to a Dane. I enjoyed talking to him and to know his point of view of Denmark and what England is like.



These two are few of the women (Lykke and Camilla) work work with the guys in the tubing/piping industry. Proves that women can handle that work industry too... as well as, handle their beer.



Oh the charm.



I must of really been into our conversation.



I must say that it really was a fun evening. Whether they are family, friends, or co-workers, Kingkeld surrounds himself around great people.
