My little Texan

I can't believe how much my niece is looking like my aunt, whose passed on a long time ago.

Little J is getting cuter and cuter.

Dangerous

Going to the beach had always been one of my favorite things to do when I lived in Houston. The 60 mile trek to Galveston was a breeze. So many fun-filled memories as a kid, as well as a mom. I miss those days.

But... I think that the only thing dangerous here in Denmark, besides DF, is the cold water. Damned!

As you can see, I am not sure I will gather found beach memories while living here. Not even a pina colada could of warmed me up.

LIKE THIEVES IN THE NIGHT

My husband brought this up to my attention.

Our union has this on their website.

Like a theif in the night, Pia Kjærsgaard and company are taking money away from the unemployed.
This is the truth of the Danish People's Party anti-social politics.

No matter where you are, the working and lower class always gets hammered in the ass. The rich get off so fucking easy. Pisses me off!

WII Fitness

Little did Dee know, I had my camera and caught her doing some Wii Fitness.

I think it's a pretty good investiment and summer entertainment, since we are stuck in Denmark.
I was told that since I am on sick leave, I cannot go to the U.S. for vacation. :(
So now, I am trapped like a rat. Hopefully I'll be back on track and going to the U.S. in October.

Copenhagen's Central Station

Our wonderful day in Sweden ended with some shots of the King and Dee goofing off at Central Station.

Thanks bebe and DeeDee for a fun day.  I really enjoy our family outings.

St. Petri Kyrka - St. Peter's Church

Here are some pictures of St. Peter's Church in Malmö, Sweden.  It was founded in the beginning of the 14th century.  All of it is built in the Baltic Gothic style, with flying buttresses and elegant arches soaring over aisles.

There is a towering alter piece that was consecrated in 1611.  The four pictures, placed one above the other, depict the institution of the Lord's Supper, the Crucifixion, the Ascension and the Glorification.  The floor of the Church was at one time entirely covered with gravestones.

Baby Lounge

Roskilde sure does have some aging babies. I'd hate to be the one to change their diapers.

Jim and Peter

It's not that often that I come across great people. .. not that I am saying none exist... especially here in Denmark. But to be honest, Jim and Peter were like the best of the best. Jim being the best friend a girl could have. It was an instant connection, the undertanding of what perverted humor is, fellow butt enthusiast, and awesome shopping buddy.

Then the time came for their departure. I just could not let them go without tasting my favorite dish of Carne Asada, Mexican rice, and homemade flour tortillas. None of that store bought crap! All home made!!!!

Jim and Peter, if you come across this, I miss you guys. I hope the best for you two and your fur kids.

Peter and Jim.
