I made these socks yesterday, using some leftover yarn. The colors are kinda funky, but the socks are warm and comfortable. I think after last years winter, which was horrible for me, and with the high price of using heat, we pretty much lived in what I would consider subzero degrees, so being able to make my own socks will be pretty cool.
I have got to get better at knitting. So far it has ended in nothing but tears and recriminations. But, oh, to have wool socks in funky colors!
