Nyhavn during spring

Last year, one of the places we visited in Copenhagen was this charming street area called Nyhavn. As usual, Keld was the best tour guide a Texan girl could have.

Nyhavn was built during the late 1600's and still has a building from that time period which is still standing today.

Since we visited it during early spring, I was not able to enjoy it as much as I did, but I did manage to get some great photos.

I am always happy to find public restrooms nearby... though I am not sure if I will be able to use them. Cooties!

Nice looking naked mermaid.

The cold didn't seem to keep the entertainment away.

Typical blankets provided by restaurants for the folks who are brave enough to sit outside.

I am not sure, but this spot might be the starting point for one of the tour canal excursions.

One of the few GO GO dancing bars found in Nyhavn. I wanted to go in and see, but we were pressed for time. We were meeting with Jesper.

This anchor is a memorial for all the lost sailors at sea. Located near Kongons Nytorv.

With summer nearing, I can't wait to explore Nyhavn again.
